Frank Hont
Chairman
Frank Hont is a former Liverpool councillor who as Cabinet Member for Housing helped deliver 5,000 new and refurbished homes in the city including housing projects like the Welsh Streets and Marwood Towers.
He was also at the forefront of initiatives including landlord licencing, tackling the problem of houses in multiple occupation and a review of student accommodation in Liverpool.
Maggi Howard
Board member
Maggi runs a Chartered Surveying consultancy, Perito Property, and her past experience includes a long career in housing, from Relief Worker in a women’s refuge to Executive Director at a large Registered Provider.
Andrea Fare Titterington
Board member
Canon Andrea Titterington’s wealth of experience in housing and regeneration includes 11 years as Chief Executive of Maritime Housing Association/Group Chief Executive of The Regenda Group until 2003, and, most recently, nine years as Regeneration Director at Liverpool Football Club.
Mark Kitts
Chief Executive and board member
Mark joined Liverpool City Council in 2002 and, as Assistant Director of Regeneration, led on the delivery of many of the city’s major regeneration schemes including the Lime Street regeneration, the Anfield Project, Great Homer Street’s Project Jennifer, Ten Streets and Paddington Village.
Charles Jarvis PHD
Deputy Chief Executive
Charles has worked within the housing and regeneration sector for more than 15 years. He was the Assistant Director of Market Intelligence for the English regulator of social housing, Homes and Communities Agency, formerly the Tenants Service Authority. Prior to this Charles was the Deputy Director of the Manchester Salford Housing Market Renewal Pathfinder and worked for Manchester City Council in various strategic roles.
Louise Davies
Development Director
Louise is an experienced Development Director with a proven track record in delivering large scale Development and Regeneration Programmes for Housing Providers in the North West. Louise has worked in the housing sector for over 17 years, and was previously Group Development Director at the Sovini Group where she was responsible for the Development and Sales portfolio- as part of the delivery of the Group’s £100m Development Programme.
Nick Flanagan, MRICS
Senior Development Manager
Nick has overseen the created of Foundations’ gateway methodology and was responsible for developing the company’s interim project appraisal system. He is also responsible for the delivery of Foundations’ housing projects, including the successful delivery of the company’s first scheme, which comprised 14 new build homes in Park Street, Dingle.
Before working at Foundations, Nick was Head of Property Services at Liverpool City Council, where he was responsible for the management of the council’s investment portfolio. Nick has worked across a range of property departments and teams, gaining a broad range of property and development experience.
Kelly Hayes
Business Development Assistant
Kelly holds a BA Honours degree in Business Studies and had built experience working in private sector procurement before joining Foundations.
Liam Knowles
ACCA Finance Director
With more than 10 years’ experience in the social housing sector, Liam joined Foundations in November 2019 from the Sovini Group. Liam has extensive experience in providing financial oversight of major programmes, including a £200 million build project. Previously, he successfully led on the preparation work for the Riverside Group’s credit rating, achieving an Aa3 rating – the strongest in the sector
Sandra McCaughley
Business Development Director
With more than 20 years’ experience in regeneration, Sandra has worked on several transformational projects across the city, including Liverpool ONE. She also led the programmes team investing more than £60 million in the regeneration of Liverpool city centre. Sandra has an MA in civic design and joined Foundations from the voluntary sector. She is also director of United Utilities trust fund.
Claire Parry
Senior Development Manager
Claire leads on establishing residential design principles for Foundations and as a member of the development team, is responsible for delivering new housing schemes.
Prior to joining the Foundations team, Claire worked at Liverpool City Council as a development team leader specialising in regeneration projects. Claire has extensive experience of delivering projects at different stages of development, from inception through to delivery. She has two masters’ degrees – one in Town Planning and another in Public Administration.
